Capital Budgeting

Effective leaders make investment decisions that optimally allocate limited capital resources to achieve organizational goal, while minimizing risks. They stand out not because they have access to particularly rich information, but because they seek the most useful information and accurately identify and evaluate the risks and potential return. Capital budgeting is a key strategic skillset that leaders must possess to ensure that capital resources are efficiently implemented to achieve the strategic goals. . This course aims to equip business leaders with the terminology, techniques, and the strategic mindset required to navigate a complex business environment, evaluate competing investment options, execute efficient budgeting decisions, and effectively communicate their decisions and impact.

The prerequisite for this course is Finance for the non-Financial Manager and is a required course for the Financial Management Certificate.
