Gallantly Streaming: Anthem and Authority in the USA

Date & Time: February 2, 2021 (12:00 pm-12:30 pm ET)
Location: Online

A single song can be interpreted by countless voices. Delivering a national anthem can be a moment that blends pop culture, individualism, and civic identity.

In time for the Super Bowl, JHU Carey Executive Education presents a complimentary webinar exploring how citizens are given and stripped of the power to interpret national symbols.

Join JHU Peabody Institute professor Carl DuPont on Feb. 2 for a celebration of song and an examination of organizational leadership.

All registered participants will be emailed a webinar audio prelude no fewer than four days prior to the live event. The prelude is arranged by professor DuPont and features musical samples and conversational prompts.

Get to know Carl DuPont in one of our Leadership at the Movies recordings.
